How do we make space for ourselves in the busy life of a school?

Peaceful Schools is a project we share as mother and daughter. Ingrid brings more than 30 years of experience in education, including teaching and school leadership, and recent research into the wellbeing of regional and remote school principals. Tundi brings a background in psychology and research with children and families.

We’re interested in what school feels like for the people who spend their days there. What helps children learn and feel they belong? What gives teachers and leaders the time, support and surroundings they need to do their work well? Who decides what counts as good change?

These questions shape the resources we share and the places we’re creating for people who work in schools.
